A Little About Maarten

My name is Maarten Meiners and I am a professional skier of the Dutch National Team since 2008. I participated in the World Ski Championships in Garmisch (2011) and Schladming (2013) where I finished 20th at the Super-Combined, Vail / Beaver Creek (2015) and St. Moritz (2017). I competed at several Alpine Ski World Junior Championships and finished 12th in Roccaraso (ITA) in 2012 on the Giant-Slalom (best Dutch result ever) and 10th in Quebec (CAN) in 2013. Many podium and wins at different international FIS races with top 10 results in European Cup.

Besides my career as proffesional skier, I'm finished my bachelor degree Economics & Business at the University of Amsterdam.

My goal is to be the first Dutch ski racer at the Olympics, that means participating at the highest level of ski racing in the world. I have experience as brand ambassador, ski clinics and presentations for brands such as Rossignol, ERU Prestige, Audi, Active Professionals, Hublot, Q1905, Snowworld, Austrian Tourism Agency, Innsbruck, Kitzski, J.Lindeberg, Hestra, POC, Komperdell and many more to come!
